Birthday Haul!

So yesterday was my birthday yay! I turned 17 and I had a lovely day with family over. At the weekend I also had loads of my friends over for a sleepover in a tent in my back garden and we danced and chatted and played twister etc. It was one of my favourite birthdays I have ever had and I was going to share with you what I got because I love to look at these too (just as a note I am not boasting I am merely showing you what I got for your entertainment as I'm a bit nosey and like to see what people got too)!

To start off with, from my best friend that I have known since I was an ickle girl I got some beautiful smelling shower and body cream from a quite fancy looking brand called Mandara Spa. I also got some really cool earrings, a bracelet and a book that looks really cool. It's a novel about crime and murder so I can't wait to read that as I am going to New York soon so it is perfect for the plane!
Next, from a wonderful girl called Ami who I have known since primary school I got the cutest nose studs ever. There's a green, blue, pink, silver and a nose ring and although I got my nose pierced back in June, I only have 2 nose studs so I needed some more and these are so pretty so thank you Ami!! <3

Then, from quite a large group of girls I know I got various bits which were so cool! I got some nail polish from Miss Sporty which are actually so good and they are the nicest colours too! I got this little pot thing that you put your finger in and the nail polish on your nails magically comes off and this is quite possibly the best thing in the shops right now so I highly recommend that (it's the little pot on the right) if you paint your nails a lot and find taking the colour off a chore like I do. Make-up was a theme in this set of gifts so I got a fabulous eye shadow pallet full of neutrals from MUA, another Sleek blush in the colour Life's A Peach which is such a pretty orange colour, a Barry M eyeliner brush (you all know my obsession with that brand), a blush brush which I have needed for AGES, a One Direction goodie bag which has some very cheesy things in but is such a laugh and finally, the Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch and I love these so much! I love love love love love these presents so much so thank you to everyone who got me them because I have already used everything you've got me!

My other friend Megan got me this beautiful Owl locket necklace from Accessorize and it looks so pretty on. It's quite long and I love owls so it is right up my street and I've already worn it today at school. It has a really sparkly gold chain and shimmers in the light. I especially love the fact that it's a locket so you can put pictures in it and the owl on the front is so so so so so cute!!!!! Thank you Megan :)
A guy called Adam at my school got me this really interesting book too that he said is one of the saddest books he has ever read. It's called Flowers For Algernon and as he gave it such a good review, I'm excited to start reading that too. Thank you Adam!!

Eileen decided to give me some really cool blue flowers and I have never got flowers before so that was super nice. Her and Jess also decided to give me a strip tease (they still had vest tops and leggings on guys don't worry) to Cher which is joke in our group of friends and I almost died of laughing so thank you guys very much for that!

The last present that I got from my friends was this absolutely amazing top from my friend Claire. It is a really colourful aztec baggy top from New Look and I can't wait to wear it because it is incredible. I think it would go really well with some leggings or jeans as it's loose fitting so thank you so much!

Moving onto family gifts, most of my family gave me money that I can put towards driving lessons or my holiday to New York in October (yay) but one of my brother's and his girlfriend got me 2 books (you can tell that I love books now) that I can't wait to start reading. One is called Wool which is apparently like Hunger Games (and I loved the Hunger Games so much so I can't wait to see what that's like) and a book that I have heard numerous people rave about which is called The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window And Disappeared (longest title ever). It's an international best seller and due to the fact that I am a complete book worm I seriously cannot wait to delve into that so thank you guys!

Finally, my parents got me some really cool clothes like these slippers that have polar bears on them and they are the warmest and comfiest slippers ever! A new One Direction poster has been added to my room which they got me and it is so hot, all the boys look wonderful *swoon*. They also got me 2 vest tops, one in red which is shown below and one in pink that I am wearing right now, a gorgeous green floral top that is literally the best thing I have ever ever ever been given(!), some amazing leggings in a wicked aztec design and a supersoft onesie..with ears on it!!! I have lived in it since I opened it yesterday and I am wearing it over my vest top now. I love it so much! My Mum also got me a skirt but it's too big so we're going to take it back and she said she has something else in mind to swap it with. Thank you so much Mum and Dad you are the best :).

So that is everything that I got for my birthday. I am so lucky that I got these things and I am so grateful to everyone who bought me things so thank you so much to everyone, I really appreciate it. I love you guys so much!!! Have any of you guys had a birthday recently, if you had why don't you tell me what you got in the comments because I'm a nosey little sod who would love to hear about it! Thank you guys for reading this extremely long blog post and I shall see you soon!
